be supposed toは、「～するつもりです」という感じで、会話でも良く使われます。
Anyway, は「とにかく」で、これも本当によく会話や英文メールでも使いますねー。
By the way は「ところで・・」と話題を変えるときにつかいます。短縮形だとBTW,ですが
あまりフォーマルでは使えません。

We are supposed to spend time there for a while.
After that, my friend will go back to Japan and I will go
to Mexico.
I know I’m really crazy about vacation…
I’ve just come back from Bali but I couldn’t take a
breathing spell because I’ve been there many times.
Bali is a good place but now I feel like going to places
which are far from Japan as much as possible and
places where I’ve never been to!
I would never be interested in Mexico if I didn’t see George.
Meso-America inspires my adventurous spirit very much!

I hope you don’t say ‘I don’t have time to spend with you
because I’ve got a new girlfriend’.
I’m sure George is a big hit with the girls because you’re
so cool, kind and inteligent. Right?

Japan is in the rainy season now.
Humidity gets down my spirits.
The temperature is over 30 degrees in addition to this

As for me, I drive with my friends (I have a driver’s
licence but I rarely drive by myself), or go to hot spring.
The experience of breaking up with my boyfriend taught me
a renewed recognition of preciousness of the existence of
friends. I was in emotional instability when I was in Bali
because it was just after having broken up with my boyfriend.
Despite I met Masamichi-san and his friends for the first time,
I always complained about that to them (do you remember them?),
until I met George.
Those are good memories at this moment!!!

8月にお休みが取れそうなんだけど、8月のメキシコってどんな感じ？気候は寒
い？
正直、ジョージに会いに行くだけだから、メキシコシティで何したらいいかだけ
教えて！
友達とブラジルのフロリアノポリスにバカンスに行こうって話になって（ってい
うか私がそうしたいって言ったんだけど（笑））、そこでしばらく過ごしてから
友達は日本に帰って、私だけメキシコに行こうと思ってるの。
私ってほんとにバカンス狂だね・・・
バリ島に行ったばかりだけど、何度も行ってるからあまり息抜きにはならなかっ
たの。バリもいい所なんだけど、今は、なんだかできるだけ日本から遠い、まだ
見ぬ場所に行ってみたいの！ジョージに会わなかったらまったく興味のない場所
だったんだけどね。メキシコって。中米って私の冒険心をすごく掻き立てるわ！
ところで、私がメキシコに行ったら、ジョージは私に会ってくれるのかしら？
そのころは新しい彼女とラブラブで「お前の相手はしてらんね～」とかになって
なきゃいいけど。ジョージって超かっこよくて、優しくて、頭良いから、すごく
モテるでしょ？（非）
とにかく、私と遊んでくれることを祈ってます（笑）
日本は今、梅雨です。じめじめしててテンション下がるよ。
気温は30度を越えてて、その上湿気があって、もうこんな気候うんざり！
でも梅雨が終われば海水浴シーズンだよ。海が大好きな私はすごく待ち遠しい
わ!!

私は友達とドライブ行ったり（私は免許はあるけどペーパーです）、温泉いった
りしてます。彼氏と別れてからというもの、お友達のありがたみを再認識してい
ます（笑）。バリに行ってたときは別れた直後で、超不安定な状態だったんだよ
ね・・・。ジョージに会うまではかなり不機嫌で、はじめて会ったマサミチきん
たち（おぼえてる？）にも愚痴ってたの！
今となっていい思い出です!!!
